Made of foam rubber. Serves to prevent the loss of body heat when submerged in cold water. Shall be provided for every person assigned to the crew of the rescue boat and at least three immersion suits shall be provided for each open type lifeboat on the ship.

SHM's Crimson range of Immersion suits are designed, in accordance to SOLAS LSA coad, to improve tha ability to remain dry and maintain body temperature when immersed in water.

Crimson l1 suite are made of reinforced neoprene and come in assorted size with a head support.
